The Malta Cine Circle is currently accepting national and international film submissions for this year’s festival, scheduled to take place at the end of November. The submission deadline for the 49th ‘Golden Knight Malta International Short Film Festival’ is September 30, 2010.
The main goal of the Golden Knight Film Festival is to strengthen the art of film-making in Malta, thus helps the average picture-goer understand better the skills and techniques of cinematography, and therefore be able to fully appreciate the art of cinema.
The festival is divided into three classes. Class A compounds productions with non-commercial purposes; Class B accommodates film school students for productions made by students during their film school studies; and Class C is open for productions which do not qualify under Class A or Class B.
All individuals, groups or clubs and undergraduate or postgraduate students are encouraged to submit their short movies not exceeding 30 minutes duration in all class categories. The Festival does not charge entry fees. Eligible applicants can download Submission Regulations and Entry Form by clicking here.
